The ballroom erupted into whispers.<\/p>\n

Daniel stared at the screen.<\/p>\n

“What is this?”<\/p>\n

The waitress swiped to the next image.<\/p>\n

A photograph filled the display.<\/p>\n

It showed Daniel standing beside the waitress, both smiling while holding a newborn baby wrapped in a blanket.<\/p>\n

The room became completely silent.<\/p>\n

Charlotte looked from the phone to Daniel.<\/p>\n

Her confidence disappeared.<\/p>\n
